Day 24

I could never understand why one had to thank God for allowing us to live another day. I often thought to myself: isn’t everyday the same? Like you get up in the same bed every morning, do the same chores, breathe like you do everyday, and walk like it isn’t a big deal (unless you’re a medical student wondering how many action potentials are taking place with what rushing where to make it possible for the one leg to move forward and the other to remain stationary and than move). So many things that we perform in our everyday lives are taken for granted because it’s natural for them to happen. It would be weird if a person didn’t walk, talk, or move but it would be weird in a special way if a person over did any of these. The moonwalk of MJ, amazingly fast-talking skills of people in Guiness book of world records, and the astonishing flexibility of yoga artists. Is this gifted? Innate? Learned?

I was in the park yesterday and I could see a honeybee right beside me on the grass. Trying to climb up and walk to the other side. I couldn’t help but think how big the grass might seem to the bee at that very moment and how little it looked to me. But on the other hand, I thought: how little all the parks including the one in which I was in would be to the bee when it is flying up high and to me it looked big. The difference is amazing. The depth is terrifying. Who really is small? The bee or me? Or both?

How is it all controlled? Why is the bee so small and comparatively human beings so big? Perhaps because we both serve different purposes. Have you ever wondered about the fixed sizes of every living creature? They barely grow out of the size they ought to be. Are the insects and animals serving their purpose of life as a warning to us?

A sick person, who is counting the days of his life to die, will be more then upset to read this blog. I guess I sort of know why. There has to be a reason to everything: me typing, you reading etc. How many more examples do we need to make a little thank you to the creator?

Everything that is judged will have perfection except for human beings.

Anyway.

I have been listening to “Halo” a lot lately, I think it’s a great song “It’s the risk that I’m taking, I aint never gonna shut you out ..”

Gnite
